Challenge

The report needed to communicate dense climate data and policy insights to multiple high-level audiences—from venture capitalists evaluating investments to policymakers shaping energy infrastructure. The challenge was transforming a 79-page technical document into a format compelling enough to cut through the noise and drive action during what Bill Gates called climate tech's "deployment era."

Approach

I directed the visual strategy and coordinated external partners to create a cohesive multi-platform experience. Working with Lucas Fleischer, Head of Content and Creative, I translated complex climate topics into accessible visual narratives across web, social media, video, and print. I then partnered with the marketing team to develop a distribution strategy that maximized reach among policymakers, industry leaders, and investors.

Result
  • A comprehensive digital report that positioned Breakthrough Energy's insights at the center of climate tech conversations.

  • Clarity around critical topics like the $1 trillion in expected IRA-related investments and the transition from sustainability initiatives to full-scale business strategy.

  • A coordinated design and distribution approach that informed capital allocation and policy decisions at a moment when the clean energy transition needed it most.
